ESPN FPI prediction: 2023 Miss. State vs. Western Michigan
10/7/23 – Mississippi State Bulldogs vs. Western Michigan Broncos
Now here’s a team that Mississippi State has never played before. From a historic standpoint, It’ll be a little interesting to see how this matchup plays out.
But given the difference in talent between these two teams, it should be a shock to anyone if ESPN’s FPI actually prediction holds true when the Bulldogs and the Western Michigan Broncos actually meet in Starkville and face off in October 2023.
Led by head coach Zach Arnett, the Mississippi State Bulldogs should be a pretty formidable force relative to what Western Michigan brings to the table. There’s just enough of a talent differential that, theoretically, this game shouldn’t be a close contest.
Of course, anything could happen on any given Saturday. And for the sake of MSU fans, hopefully nothing absurd happens on this particular Saturday.
I just want a smooth and easy win for the Bulldogs.
