The Mississippi State football team is looking to make a big impact in the 2023 season under head coach Zach Arnett. As MSU football fans get ready for the upcoming year, ESPN FPI rankings have been released.

To go with those ESPN FPI rankings, ESPN has also released game-by-game predictions for the upcoming Mississippi State football season.

With these new projections, we now have an idea about how the Bulldogs could fare against each of their opponents. Of course, these are just predictions and projections and they’re made by some fancy number crunching.

Mississippi State football: 2023 ESPN FPI projections

Heading into 2023, the MSU Bulldogs are coming off of a strong season. Of course, this is a program that is having to handle an incredibly amount of change and emotional turmoil. Last season, Mississippi State lost a teammate and the Bulldogs lost their head coach.

Now after a 9-4 campaign in 2022 and with an overhauled coaching staff led by Zach Arnett, the Miss. State Bulldogs will try to further build upon what Mike Leach was starting to get established.

But they’ll do it with a new offense, apparently.

Let’s take a look at how the upcoming season could look, according to ESPN’s FPI predictions.
