2023 ESPN FPI predictions: Miss. State vs. Kentucky

11/4/23 – Mississippi State Bulldogs vs. Kentucky Wildcats

While some like to say that this isn’t a rivalry, this game has been pretty heated on an annual basis over the past few years and it’s pretty evenly matched. The Kentucky Wildcats and Mississippi State Bulldogs have been trading wins back and forth going back to 2015. And the trend is that the home team wins each of those matchups.

Here’s to hoping that this trend continues.

But there’s a lot of new about Mississippi State football these days and Zach Arnett is at the helm of the MSU Bulldogs. He’s a first year head coach who is pretty young, though he is familiar with the SEC and with as physical as this particular series has been in recent seasons.

With both sides having capable rosters, this could be an exciting game. But again, here’s to hoping that recent trends continue.
