The Pac-12 features some fascinating softball action and this season is no exception. Though it’s the final season of Pac-12 college softball, there is still plenty to keep up with in the conference this year.
At the moment, the Stanford Cardinal lead the 2024 Pac-12 softball standings with a pretty dominant 13-2 record. It’s worth pointing out how the Cardinal have thrived all throughout the season up to this point and their winning percentage of 86.67% is notably higher than any other team in the conference.
At this point, Stanford should be the clear favorite for winning this league in its final season (for anyone keeping track of how the Pac-12 is crumbling, that is).
But while the leader is just about figured out, the competition for second place is a bit more interesting. Right now, the UCLA Bruins, currently second with a 9-3-0 record, are closely followed by the Washington Huskies at 10-5-0. At the moment there’s only one game separating the Bruins and Huskies, so keep an eye on how that plays out.
Here’s what the Pac-12 softball standings currently look like:
2024 Pac-12 softball standings: Updated 4/15/24

Washington | 10-5 | .667 | 28-7 | .800 | W2 |
Oregon | 10-7 | .588 | 24-15 | .615 | L1 |
Arizona | 9-9 | .500 | 28-13-1 | .671 | W1 |
Utah | 7-11 | .389 | 25-17 | .595 | W4 |
Oregon State | 5-10 | .333 | 17-23 | .425 | W1 |

Arizona State | 2-13 | .133 | 18-21 | .462 | L6 |
As for the Pac-12’s middle class? Well, things are a little chaotic (and a lot of fun). So far, the midst of the Pac-12 standings is packed, with the Oregon Ducks, Arizona Wildcats, and Utah Utes clustered closely together.
And to round out the conference, Oregon State, California and Arizona State are all struggling and languishing at the bottom of the conference. It’d take a lot to help these teams get their seasons turned around and back on track. But hey, there’s still a little time left up ahead!
