We all kind of expected the Mississippi State football game against the Arizona Wildcats to get weird. It got weird in a hurry and in a way that is stressful and delightful all at the same time. Arizona quarterback Jayden De Laura is quickly proving to be a fascinating player to watch.

He’s also showing that he can make incredible plays that will help out either team on the field. Like the one where he evaded multiple tacklers, scrambled in an out and around the pocket, scooted out of danger, launched a pass deep down field that was almost in a great spot to get caught, got picked off, and then ended up getting flagged.

It was incredible and a disaster for everyone everywhere all at once. It was art and you need to see this nonsense.

Isn’t that amazing and awful?! I’m incredibly glad he butchered that pass. I’m not glad that he’s clearly got impressive arm strength and remarkable athleticism. I am glad that Mississippi State was able to get that picked off with some solid coverage.

Oh, and by the way, Mississippi State is currently leading 15-7 towards the end of the 1st quarter. State has been able to score a couple touchdowns, but then the Bulldogs missed both extra point attempts. Mississippi State then was able to get a field goal.

It’s weird. I think there’s a full moon. Expect chaos. Let’s Raid the Air.
