Postgame poll: Will Mississippi State baseball win any SEC road series this season?

Yet another road series is getting off to a disastrous start for the Mississippi State baseball team. The Mississippi State Bulldogs just seemed completely in over their heads during their first game against the Arkansas Razorbacks.

Mississippi State fell behind early and simply couldn’t ever recover. Now it’s worth wondering as to whether or not the Bulldogs will have any success on the road against other teams in the SEC. Mississippi State sure hasn’t had much luck lately.

Will that change going forward? If it does change, how many SEC road series can the Bulldogs win? They’ve currently got one that they are still in right now against Arkansas. Not counting the Razorbacks, Mississippi State will have road series against Ole Miss, Missouri, and Texas A&M.

So, how will the Bulldogs do on the road? Can they get back on track?

Mississippi State baseball: Bulldogs beaten by Arkansas Razorbacks in game 1

Thankfully tomorrow is a new day and the Bulldogs can start to get right back on track if they take down Arkansas in game 2. It doesn’t have to be anything fancy. The Bulldogs don’t need a blowout win. They just need a win. If Lemonis and the Bulldogs can get a win in game 2, then they’ve got a shot at winning the series.

So, here’s to hoping that they win game 2. I suspect we will all feel better if the Bulldogs are able to get a win in game 2. If nothing else, that would mean the Bulldogs wouldn’t be swept by Arkansas once more.

That seems like an important piece of information to note.
