We’re going to do some things a little different around here with all of the new content posted on The Underdog Tribune. Starting today and through the rest of the holiday season (and potentially longer), we’re going to put an emphasis on serving others and giving back.
The holidays should be a special time of year for anyone and everyone. The past couple of years have been hard on many.
Let’s do some good and make an impact on someone else.
In each of the new articles posted here on The Underdog Tribune, our audience will be able to find information about a charity or cause that is doing wonders to help others. Most of the causes and charities I’ve gathered information on happen to help children in some way or another, but this effort going to highlight as many different causes and charities as possible.
Here’s what this will look like. Let’s start with an organization I happen to be fond of and support:
Let’s do some good
- Who? Compassion International
- What do they do? Through partnering with local churches and communities across the globe, Compassion International is able to make an impact and help elevate children out of poverty. Their goal is to “release children from poverty,” provide opportunities for education, and to teach communities about Jesus.
- How can I learn more about them? Check out Compassion International’s about page by clicking here.
- Are they on social media? Visit Compassion International’s Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook accounts.
In every new article for at least the remainder of the month, you’ll find a section that is similar to that right in the middle of the content. I plan on finding more causes and charities and would love your help in that. That’s especially true with organizations that are making an impact in Mississippi.
If you have any other suggestions for other causes, please share them. You can comment here or reach out to me on Twitter.
We have an opportunity to impact some lives. Let’s do that.
