The Mississippi State baseball team is back on the road and getting set to face off against the Arkansas Razorbacks in Fayetteville.
Arkansas currently leads the SEC West right now, but the Bulldogs have a decent spot in the standings despite Mississippi State’s rough start to SEC play. The Bulldogs have been inconsistent, but they have flashed plenty of potential at various times.
Now would be a great time for the Bulldogs to get a series sweep. Or, well, just win the series. That would be great as well.
Unfortunately for the Bulldogs, Fayetteville hasn’t exactly been kind to Mississippi State in recent years. The Bulldogs were swept in Fayetteville by the Razorbacks in both the 2019 season and the 2017 season. In 2015, Mississippi State only managed to get one win. The Razorbacks took the other two. After being swept by Arkansas in Starkville in 2021, it’d be great to see the Bulldogs find a way to get this series this season.
