Mississippi State baseball meets up with Texas Tech in Biloxi

Well, this season is off to an awful start for the Mississippi State baseball team. Things could certainly be worse, but things could definitely be better.

Chris Lemonis and his Mississippi State Bulldogs are 6-6 and have completely fallen short on multiple occasions. Most recently, Mississippi State lost two games on the road against the Tulane Green Wave. While Tulane is a good team, the Bulldogs could have won at least one of those games and there’s a really good argument to be made that the Bulldogs should have won both.

Unfortunately for the Bulldogs, things don’t get any easier any time soon. Mississippi State is facing off against a really good Texas Tech baseball team. The Red Raiders are off to a phenomenal start and are one of the best teams in the country. This is a great opportunity for Mississippi State to get back on track, but the Bulldogs won’t have an easy time getting a win.

Mississippi State enters into this game having won the past five matchups against Texas Tech. Will they be able to get back on their feet and continue that hot streak?

Here’s everything you need to keep up with the Bulldogs as they battle the Red Raiders in Biloxi this week.
