The No. 5 Mississippi State Bulldogs (6-2) are out on the West Coast and are looking for another series win against another ranked opponent.
But this foe appears to be a bit more intimidating than the Oregon State Beavers. The No. 20 Long Beach State Dirtbags (6-2), fresh off of a sweep of the Wake Forest Demon Deacons, host the Bulldogs this weekend.
The Mississippi State baseball team has its work cut out for it. That’s especially true considering that MSU’s typical Friday night starter J.T. Ginn is still out.
Mississippi State released its starting rotation for the series Thursday evening and it doesn’t include Ginn. The Bulldogs will have to find a way to beat the Dirtbags without him.
Check out the Bulldogs’ starting rotation:
Game one between the Bulldogs and the Dirtbags begins at 8 p.m. Central Time.
