Week 3 of the 2023 college football season is here and the Sun Belt conference has a rather exciting slate of football games lined up.
On Saturday, September 16th, a number of Sun Belt teams will be hitting the road and getting to play all across the country. They get the distinct pleasure of getting to face a variety of tough opponents from Power 5 conferences.
Oh, and we’ve got a few critical in-conference matchups set for us. Let’s take a gander at the games for this weekend.
Kicking things off at 11 a.m. (all times listed here are CT), the Georgia Southern Eagles will head to Camp Randall Stadium to take on the Wisconsin Badgers. Wisconsin is fresh off of a loss to the Washington State Cougars, but this will be a tough road test for Clay Helton and his Eagles.
At the same time, Old Dominion will welcome the Wake Forest Demon Deacons to Norfolk, Virginia. Yes, it’s a home game, but no, it won’t be easy.
