Some changes are coming.

There are significant changes happening with Mississippi State football. My employer has gone through some notable changes over the past year. I ended up migrating where I do my Mississippi State blogging.

And now change has inevitably come for The Underdog Tribune.

It’s not going to be negative change, but it is going to be fairly significant. And all it means is that I’m expanding what this blog does a bit. I want some creative freedom to explore a few different ideas and clearly I’ve had an interest in writing about a few more teams than just Mississippi State.

So, while this has historically been a Mississippi State blog, let’s broaden some horizons and move beyond just that. Going forward, The Underdog Tribune is going to be more than just a Mississippi State blog.

But wait, Mississippi State blogging will still happen

If you want to keep up with my Mississippi State blogging adventures, you’ll have the opportunity to do just that at Maroon and White Nation. I made the move back to MWN (a place where I blogged back in 2018 and into the early part of 2019 before my wife and I ended up across the country). And that’s where my MSU blogging adventures will take place.

So, welcome to The Underdog Tribune, a blog owned by a Mississippi State alumnus that is more than just Mississippi State.

We’re going to cover a variety of teams that are, in some way or another, an underdog. Whether that program is comparable to Mississippi State football or if it’s just some other team that is an underdog in another sort of sense. Blogging will happen here.

The Underdog Tribune will serve as a platform to celebrate the triumphs and achievements of underdogs. That’s fun. That’s exciting. And also I’ll provide a bunch of links to Mississippi State blogging that I’m doing over at Maroon and White Nation.

Think of it as a newsletter, but in website form. If you have a hard time making it over to MWN to see my MSU writing, I’ll post a bunch of links for you to read here.
