Well, this isn’t exactly the best spot for Zach Arnett and his Mississippi State Bulldogs. Heading into the 2023 MSU football season and it looks like the Mississippi State football team will get the perfect opportunity to start proving some folks wrong.

ESPN’s FPI doesn’t look at MS State football heading into the 2023 season and come away all that impressed. According to ESPN FPI rankings, the mystical calculations that generate numbers and rankings have the Bulldogs toward the bottom of the Southeastern Conference despite the fact that MSU finished at 9-4 a season ago.
