Home runs are always fun and grand slams are a thrill to watch. So far, Aquana Brownlee has hit both and is thriving right now as the Mississippi State softball teams faces off against the Indiana Hoosiers.
You absolutely have to watch this grand slam from Brownlee, which gave the Bulldogs a solid 12-1 lead in the bottom of the 4th inning.
This is the kind of offensive explosion the Bulldogs needed a week ago. Mississippi State struggled last weekend and lost two games due to a lack of runs being pushed across the plate.
Who knows how consistent the Mississippi State Bulldogs will be this year, but if the pitching can continue to perform as it has so far and they find a way to consistently score some runs like this, this season will be a lot of fun to keep up with.
