It’s time for Mississippi State’s bowl game!

The final game of the 2022 Mississippi State football season is upon us. The Bulldogs, after beating the Ole Miss Rebels to seal up eight regular season wins and lock up third in the SEC West, will be squaring up with the Illinois Fighting Illini in the ReliaQuest Bowl (previously the Outback Bowl).

Mississippi State has gone through the emotional ringer over the past month. Losing Mike Leach has been tough for the Bulldogs and their fans. But now they get to play football once more and can just focus on things that they can control.

They also get to pay tribute to Mike Leach and honor his memory by playing the game that he changed through thorough and remarkable innovation.
