Well, it was bound to happen eventually.

Last Saturday, Mississippi State suffered its first loss of the Mike Leach era. Unfortunately, it took the wind out of a lot of peoples’ sails because Mississippi State loss in horribly stunning fashion to the Arkansas Razorbacks.

Arkansas MIGHT be better than expected (this remains to be seen), but the Bulldogs definitely looked dreadful. Mistakes cost Mike Leach and the Bulldogs as they fell to Arkansas.

And they fell hard.

But, as Daniel Black pointed out, this happens when Leach is the head coach of your favorite college football team.

So, now we get to find out how Mississippi State responds to a loss like this. Will the Bulldogs be able to bounce back and win what seems like a winnable game against a Kentucky team that is reeling from two-straight frustrating losses?

Or will MSU fall flat again?
