There was a ton of political happenings in the world last night, but we’ve got some more important stuff to talk about. First and foremost, the Mississippi State men’s basketball team snuck past the South Carolina Gamecocks last night.

The Bulldogs were able to come away with a 79-76 win at home. This happened against a team that Mississippi State held an 11-point lead over. MSU led for 37:30 in this game. The Bulldogs barely managed to come away with a win.

But hey, a win is a win.

The Mississippi State women’s basketball team returns to action:

Vic Schaefer’s team is looking to bounce back from a frustrating loss. After dropping a road game to Kentucky, the Bulldogs are continuing their road trip and will face off against Auburn at Auburn Arena.

Given that Auburn is one of the worst teams in the Southeastern Conference, Schaefer’s Bulldogs have a solid shot at coming out on top of this one.
