Hey, Hail State family folks, we’ve got a couple of opportunities to do some good here. We should absolutely do some good.
I found out last night that Chuck Brister passed away. I never knew him, but it was pretty easy to see that Brister was a passionate Mississippi State fan. More importantly, he was also a husband and became a father when he and his wife Bee adopted their son Andy.
So how can we do some good here? Well, we’ve got an opportunity to pray for this family as they deal with this loss. We also have a chance to honor Chuck’s memory and pave the way for a future Bulldog.
According to my friend @VegasRebs, Bee is asking for memorial donations be made through the Mississippi State University Foundation and designated for the Charles “Chuck” Brister ACCESS Annual Scholarship Fund.

But wait, there’s more.
There’s always plenty of opportunities to help people and we can certainly do that today.
Johnny Dixon, a former Ole Miss player, took down cancer. Unfortunately, that’s not the end of his battle. He and his family are currently in need of financial support.
According to this gofundme, Dixon and his daughter currently live with his mother as he lost his house. His family is struggling to pay for medications while his daughter, who has been helping to care for him, is preparing to go off to college. They need some help.
