After ending their regular season by dropping a series to Samantha Ricketts and the Mississippi State Bulldogs, the Georgia Bulldogs are looking to build upon their resume in the 2024 SEC Tournament.

The University of Georgia softball team does have a really strong resume as they enter the SEC Tournament. All things considered, this is a team that looks capable of being a strong contender as they boast an impressive 38-15 overall record and a respectable 12-12 SEC record.
Throughout the season, Georgia racked up some nice, solid signature wins. They’ve beaten a number of ranked foes and demonstrated that they can keep up against other talented SEC teams, even if they do lose on occasion.

- Sydney Kuma: Boasting a .343 batting average, 6 home runs, and 22 RBIs of her own, Sydney Kuma consistently contributes to Georgia’s success at the plate. She’s not someone opposing pitchers can simply overlook.
- Sara Mosley: Hey, look, another powerful home run hitter. Sara Mosley’s .322 batting average, 16 home runs, and 57 RBIs make her yet another dangerous hitter within Georgia’s lineup.

Few teams hit more home runs than the Georgia Bulldogs do. They’re going to put up some runs throughout games. And, well, they’ve got a really solid pitching staff to go right along with all of that run production.
The combination of a 2.51 ERA and a scoring average of 5.91 runs per game? That’s absurd. This team can be really dangerous.
As the Georgia Bulldogs enter into the 2024 SEC Tournament, it sure looks like they have the talent necessary to be able to compete with the best in the conference. It just remains to be seen how well they perform on this stage and if they can consistently reach their potential.
