The 2024 SEC Softball Tournament is just about to begin.

Set to take place from May 7-11 at Jane B. Moore Field in Auburn, Alabama, the single-elimination tournament features all 13 SEC teams (the Vanderbilt Commodores don’t play softball, but the rest of the SEC does).

In the current format of the tournament, the top 5 seeds receive first-round byes.

This season, the tournament begins on Tuesday, May 7 as the Ole Miss Rebels and the Kentucky wildcats meet up in game 1 (which functions as a play-in game for the SEC softball tournament).

After that, on Wednesday, May 8, we get four games: the 8-seed LSU Tigers meeting up with the 9-seed Alabama Crimson Tide. The 5-seed Missouri Tigers get the winner from game 1 roughly 35 minutes after Alabama and LSU wrap up.
