The college baseball postseason has arrived for the Southeastern Conference. The 2021 SEC Baseball Tournament is finally here and the 12 best teams in the conference have gathered together to find out which team will take home the tournament crown this year.

The LSU Tigers and the Georgia Bulldogs will face off in the third game of the 2021 SEC Baseball Tournament.

LSU enters into the SEC Tourney with a 34-21 overall record and has rattled off three-consecutive SEC series wins. The Georgia Bulldogs, despited being the higher seeded team in the SEC Tournament, has been going through a rougher stretch as of late. The Bulldogs enter into the conference tournament with a 30-23 overall record and has lost seven of its last 10 games.

Here’s what you need to keep up with the LSU Tigers and the Georgia Bulldogs as they meet up in the 2021 SEC Baseball Tournament:

And who will win this match up between the LSU Tigers and the Georgia Bulldogs in the 2021 SEC Baseball Tournament?

These two teams haven’t had the chance to face each other yet this season, so it remains to be seen how they actually match up on the field. That said, LSU has been trending up a bit in recent games while the Georgia Bulldogs have been struggling against their most recent foes. Over their last 10 games, LSU is 6-4 while Georgia is just 3-7.

The Bulldogs have not had much fun recently, but LSU has won its last three series. The Tigers have some decent momentum in recent weeks and I’d be willing to pick them to find a way to beat Georgia and become the first lower seeded team to defeat a higher seeded team in the 2021 SEC Baseball Tournament.
